How to book the best Carolina Beach vacation home experience:

Sticking to your budget:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in Carolina Beach. Reserve your Carolina Beach vacation home in the Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitors guides which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Start by having your group commit to trip dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Oceanview NEW Home with Amazing Rooftop and Rec Room! Under 3 min walk 2 beach! has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before you book the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a certain Carolina Beach beach you long to visit, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Put the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Document any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to drive more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
