Strategies to get the perfect Carolina Beach rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking your Carolina Beach vacation home in Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guides which include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Filter your search:

  • Select dates and maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. 5?Downtown Abbey*Historic District*Free Parking*Lush Gardens*All New has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before reserving your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what is right for your vacation group.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach attraction you are enamored with, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Have a great stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • To ensure that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Contact the property manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
