“Valhalla” is a 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath home located in Cape Fear Station. This bespoke marsh front home is walking distance to East Beach.

Valhalla is a reverse floor plan home with the main living area, dining, kitchen, half bath, and master suite upstairs. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you can think of to make your family gatherings ideal. The open floor plan upstairs leads to two separate screen porches both overlooking the marsh. One porch has another full-sized dining area, and the other screen porch has a calming sitting area with a couch set. The peaceful setting is ideal for nature watching and listening to the waves crash in the distance! The modren master suite consists of a king bed, double vanity and walk in shower.

Downstairs consists of three more bedrooms and a separate living room / media room! The first bedroom has a king suite with a private bath. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom three has 2 sets of bunk beds and a twin bed. Bedrooms two and three share a hall bath.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home & When to go:

• Summer is the most expensive season in the Carolina Beach area. Booking your Carolina Beach vacation home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
• Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
• When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.

If your property and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
