The Palmetto Place opened in 2021 as a luxury escape for couples and modest families who savor the natural wonder of Bald Head Island. Our cedar shakes are located in Cape Fear Station and a fast golf cart ride to the public beach access, nature trails, crabbing holes, and the stores at Maritime Market. When you want to getaway from the sun and salt air, our comfortable home will welcome you with modern amenities, quality linens, and refreshed decor so you can exhale from reality and completely rejuvenate. The only worry you'll have is which bottle of red to bring.

Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island, is home to this vacation home.   • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Carolina Beach area. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Carolina Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
