The SS Pelican is a cozy two bedroom condominium located near the center of the island.  You will savor the ocean breeze while calming in the hot tub on the screened porch.  Just a short walk to the beach and the island stores.

When to book a Carolina Beach rental & When to go:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
• In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
• Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
• Property management companies often offer guests an option to add trip insurance.
