About this Property

  • Sleeps 5
  • 2 Bedrooms
  • 1 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 576 square feet

This remodeled beach bungalow is just two short blocks from the public access to the beach. The living space is 576 square feet plus a enormous screened-in porch. Partial ocean view from the porch. The bungalow is located in a peaceful residential area a short drive from the boardwalk. Linens and towels included. Entirely equipped kitchen with range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee makers, can opener and all glassware, dishes, cookware, and silverware. Washer and Dryer.

Spectrum Internet and Cable TV, Ruko TV with multiple complimentary movie channels, and a soundbar audio system.

Junior's Place is a comfortable beach bungalow that gives our guests the "good old days at the beach" feel, clean and cozy.

The bungalow was constructed in the early 1960s as a typical beach home for the time. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom- no closets. It was completely refreshed in the summer of 2018 with new wiring, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, appliances, drywall, insulation, windows, floor, and a Ductless Heat/AC unit. Due to the lack of closet space, we have supplied plenty of hooks, hang bars, and storage cubes.
The screened porch is a amazing place to hang out and relax with a partial ocean view. There is an outside shower in the back of the home for cleaning up after a walk to the beach and hooks on the porch for wet towels, beach toys, etc.
The backyard has room for badminton, volleyball, corn hole toss, etc.
It's a great little place and we know you will savor it.

*Smoking is allowed on the screened porch*
**NO WEED USE ON PROPERTY***

***Please be sure to check the pet box if you are bringing one before completing your reservation ***

How to get the best Carolina Beach rental home experience:

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Carolina Beach area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides have money saving offers on local tours and attractions.

Finding the best vacation home in Carolina Beach:

  • First, have your group decide on trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. \"JUNIOR'S PLACE\" Peaceful & Private, 2 blocks to beach -PETS OK - LOW PET FEE has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the host before you book your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property manager about pet restrictions before booking.

Tips for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • At Check-in, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
