Summary:
Located at the corner of front and main in downtown Wrightsville Beach, the WB Abodes team is happy to introduce 'The Tarrymore'. Its name stems from the iconic hotel that sat on the corner of Lumina Ave and Stone street in the early 1900’s.

All three units come equipped with full kitchens, full baths, Juliet balconies, washers and dryers, as well as elevated linens and bath products. 'The Lumina' is a 2 bedroom and 1 bath unit with vistas of Banks Channel.

The Space:
The Lumina is a completely modernized and professionally designed space up-fitted with our highest-end amenities including Parachute linens, Parachute bath towels, Malin & Goetz soaps/hair products and is supplied with Casa-Blanca coffee! The Lumina ideally balances luxury with a laid back surfer's getaway feel, portraying the two sides of what make Wrightsville Beach so beautiful.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The Tarrymore is in the heart of downtown Wrightsville Beach…putting itself within walking distance to the beach and also right across the street from Wrightsville’s favorite nightlife. There is a potential for noise, however during renovations we took as many steps as possible to remedy this by having impact glass windows and doors installed, double sheetrock, insulation and provide white noise machines in each bedroom.

Guest Access:
The Tarrymore is located above the iconic ‘Tower 7’ and is home to three WB Abode units. All of them are 100% private and only share a parking lot and lobby! The Lumina has 1 assigned parking space directly behind the unit, with signage!

Other Things to Note:
1. ***NO EVENTS or exceeding the guest limit***
2. Unit is directly across the street from multiple ‘late nighttime’ establishments so there is a potential for noise Thursday-Sunday.
3. As a professional property management firm, we do require a signed rental agreement per the NCREC.
4. Inclement weather will not be grounds for any refund if within the cancellation period.

About the Area

Located in Wrightsville Beach, this apartment is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Aussie Island Surf Shop and Cape Fear Paddleboarding are also worth visiting.

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Wrightsville Beach. Book your Carolina Beach rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.

  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it.
