Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Wrightsville Beach vacation property experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides have deals for local tours and attractions.

Selecting the perfect vacation rental in the Carolina Beach area:

  • Start by having your group agree to vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Station One - 7I Seventh Heaven - Oceanfront condo community pool, tennis has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the property management company before booking the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what configuration is optimal for your group.
  • If there's a certain Carolina Beach attraction you are crazy about, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Put the host's information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. text the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
