Finding the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • To find the best rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Carolina Beach area visitor guides which include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select your dates and max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Second Chances: Short distance to the surf! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property manager before booking the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your trip.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or may be applied to your invoice.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • During arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
