**Carolina Condo... professionally Owned and Managed by Carolina Vacays, LLC.**

Want to be 1 block away from Front St. and the Riverfront...the heart of Downtown Wilmington?

Want to park the car for the weekend and walk to all the Downtown eateries, breweries, drinkeries, stores, and wedding venues?

Then, Our 2nd St. Condo is for you!!

This building was originally part of the horse stable section in the early years of Wilmington. During the mid-1990's the building was remodeled into 4 residential condos with a retail space on the first floor....currently Gallery Citrine Art Gallery.
During the great pandemic, we painstakingly modernized our unit to bring the original building character back while adding Mid-Century Modern furnishings.

********Please note there is NO ELEVATOR in this building. To reach the unit, you must walk up stairs.*********

You will adore its eclectic vibe!! And remember....NEVER a Pet Fee or Pet Deposit charged! We want to travel with our doggie and want you to do the same!

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Wilmington vacation property experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer time is high season in Wilmington. Booking your Carolina Beach vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Some property managers offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Carolina Beach area visitors guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting the best vacation rental:

  • Choose vacation week and budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Carolina Condo - Doggies Welcome…NO PET FEES or PET DEPOSITS!!! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible online. Otherwise, call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is optimal for your family.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.
  • If there's a particular Carolina Beach destination you simply love, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Record any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a excellent time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
