How to find the best vacation rental experience:

When to book a Carolina Beach rental & When to go:

  • To get the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Carolina Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the perfect rental home in Oak Island:

  • Choose your vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Perfect for multi-family gatherings! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before booking the property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what is suitable for your group.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach beach you long to visit, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great feedback to compel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
