This vacation rental welcomes up to three dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly units.

Three flat screen TV's with DVD players, stereo and wireless internet access. This ocean view home has a screened porch with two tables and chairs. Out back is a fenced area ideal for canine guests. There is also an outside shower with hot and cold water, a park grille, and plenty of parking in the front and back (enough room to bring your boat!). Inside, one bathroom is partially handicap accessible with 36-inch doorways and a roll-in shower.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park. Traveling with kids? Consider Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Discover the area's water adventures with scuba diving and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with horse riding and cycling.

• Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer time is high season in the Carolina Beach area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
• Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

• Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
• Make a record of any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if there is a dispute.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known!
• Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Record a video to document the condition of the property.
• Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to compel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental.
