Escape to Bald Head in our 3 bedroom / 2 bath condo located at Royal James on Bald Head Island. We are centrally located on the island with the maritime stores, lighthouse and South Beach less than a 2 min. golf cart ride. Our home does include 1- 4 passenger golf cart. We also have wifi to appreciate during your stay! Our master suite has a king bed, the guest bedroom has a king bed with bath and the upstairs sleeping loft has 2 queen beds. The loft is adored by the kiddos! Appreciate peaceful mornings and nights on our two balconies or twist by the community pool, which is supplied in your rental.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Bald Head Island rental experience:

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Bald Head Island. Reserve your rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Community pool & Golf cart-Great for Families has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. If not, call the property owner before booking the property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.

  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
