Finding the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home & When to go:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Holden Beach. Reserve your Carolina Beach vacation home in Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing and booking your prefectvacation home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Aquarius - Oceanfront Pet Friendly!!! has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible online. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your trip.
  • If there's an individual Carolina Beach beach you are enamored with, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.

Tips for your stay:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the rental manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
