Exterior amenities include outside shower, screen porch & covered porch. This home is stringently a ***NON SMOKING***& Absolutely ***NO FAMILY PETS*** rental. This is home is NOT EQUIPPED FOR ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING.

How to get the best rental home value:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Sunset Beach. Booking in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
• Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

• Select a group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.

• Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before reserving the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what is right for your vacation group.
• If there's a certain Carolina Beach beach you love, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
• Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
• Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.

Additional considerations:

• Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
• During check-in, record any damages to the property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.

• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
• Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
• Did you have a terrific time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
