Strategies for getting the perfect Carolina Beach rental home experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Book your Carolina Beach vacation in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Select your vacation dates and spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Hobbs Realty - You'll be \"Livin' the Dream\" on Holden Beach in this 3 bedroom boulevard home. has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before reserving the rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your family.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach attraction you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to propel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
