  • Private vacation home

Coble Cottage is a impressive oceanfront home with one acre of land giving broad vistas of the ocean and dunes. A private boardwalk leads to the peaceful beach on the east end of Holden Island. This pretty home features its own secluded private pool (open from Easter - October).

The home is located in the gated subdivision of Dunescape where guests savor the use of the community swimming pool, tennis/pickleball courts, a full basketball court, and sand volleyball. There is also a community beach on the Intracoastal Waterway. Charmingly decorated, including den furnishings with a queen sleeper couch, this home will bring serenity to your beach vacation! Guests can also appreciate the Keurig coffeemaker, lounge chairs by the pool, an outdoor shower with hot & cold water, and a charcoal grille under the home.

Embrace the warmth of southern 'Hobbspitality'! Appreciate a welcome set of starter amenities, including one roll of paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, dish soap, and a sponge. All bathrooms include one roll of toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, makeup wipes, and bar soap. Your beds are made with fresh linens and a lightweight blanket, so you can jump right into making memories rather than making beds! While we provide a lightweight blanket, we urge you to bring additional layers for your comfort. Please note that while top bunk beds, trundles, sleeper couches, futons, and daybeds will not be made, we will provide fresh linens for them.

Please be aware that although this is not a dog-friendly rental, the owner brings their personal pet to their property. Guests with animal allergies may want to consider an alternate home.

Absolutely no family pets nor smoking allowed on this property.

Our top Rental home booking tips:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Carolina Beach area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Hobbs Realty - The stunning \"Coble Cottage\" has beautiful views and a heatable pool in a private, gated community. has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property manager before booking your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what configuration is suitable for your trip.
  • If your family is bringing pets, filter your search for a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Does your family require specific amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental

More considerations:

  • Add the host's information to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the rental manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a excellent time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
