OCEANFRONT WITH PRIVATE POOL!   6BR/5BA - BR1: 2 Bunk beds (4T), BR2:1Q, BR3: MSuite 1K with private bath, BR4: 1K with bath, BR5:1Q, BR6:1K with bath. Constructed in 2020, Sun Salutation is a 6 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom home that sleeps up to 16. Five of those bedrooms face the ocean, so pretty much everybody is going to wake up to the sound of ocean waves! Three of the bedrooms are suites with king-sized beds and private bathrooms (featuring dual rain-head showers), so it’s ideal for two or three families to share a week at the beach, while still ensuring that everybody has their own space. We also have a bedroom with twin bunk beds (ideal for kids), two other bedrooms with queen-sized beds, and a queen-sized sleeper couch.

The top (3rd) floor is a impressive great room with spectacular ocean vistas, a huge kitchen with island, and a dining area. The 1st floor features a second living area that opens onto a deck with an elevated salt water pool! We didn't want the other floors to be jealous, so they have decks too -- the ideal place for appreciating that cup of coffee while the sun rises. Don't want to take the stairs to all those floors? You don't have to, as the home features an elevator that accesses all levels.

Sun Salutation is located near the middle of Oak Island, so you are close to everything the island has to offer -- golf, kayaking, eateries, and much more! The Ocean Crest Fishing Pier is just a half-mile away. Oh, did we mention that you’ll have your own private access to the beach, just steps from the back door?

If you happen to get tired of all of the great outdoors activities, there's high-speed Internet access with wifi and 4K TVs in all of the bedrooms and living areas, including a 70" widescreen TV in the great room! If there's a chill in the nighttime air, the great room also features a fireplace to keep you warm.

When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental & When to go:

• Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summertime is high season in the Carolina Beach area. To book the largest vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Property managers usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
• Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it.
