Strategies for getting the perfect Carolina Beach vacation home experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Booking your Carolina Beach vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose the perfect rental home in the Carolina Beach area:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. SLW210: Nautical Nook: Adorable Cottage in Carolina Beach, Close to Boardwalk has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before booking the rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Carolina Beach attraction you love, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. text the host immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
