Welcome to the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC! This loft is privately tucked upstairs in the historic Shrier building with so much within walking distance:

The space
You will adore the contrast of being right in the center of downtown while being able to walk up to a completely private loft with all the amenities of home. The walls are 12ft tall, providing such a roomy feel. The original floors give this place rather the appeal, and the modern conveniences will make you feel right at home. I LOVE the balcony overlooking Front Street. Talk about just sitting back, calming, people watching, and being able to appreciate the bustle from above.

Entire Place. Quiet hours 10p-8a. No events.

No parking spaces for my loft. I park in the lot behind the building ($13/day) and sometimes find street parking right in front . There are numerous decks around and I just unload in the front (if space accepts) and then I move my car. Street parking is complimentary from 6:30pm-9:00am Monday through Saturday and complimentary on Sunday.

There is a walk up! One flight of stairs, no elevator.

Sleeps 6 means: Two beds (one queen, one king) and one queen air bed. As my spot is so cavernous it comfortably sleeps 6. There is a couch as well which you could always do one on the couch and one on the air bed, I guess it would depend on who draws the short straw in your event or who isn't paying haha. Please disclose all overnight guests as we set up accordingly.

I have a similar unit (more modern in style) exactly adjacent to this unit, within same walk up. If you are booking a bigger event, let me know.

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To book the best vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Carolina Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
