This is the ideal OIB home for your family vacation, any time of year. Located on the lower end of a canal toward beach - short 3 min. direct walk to the Raeford St. ADA-accessible beach access (no steps make it simple to transport all your beach gear).

New for 2023: Private heated swimming pool (11 ft x 20 ft; underdeck installation due to canal restrictions). For previous guests, the pool replaced the previous hot tub. We also have replaced all of the decking on the broad decks overlooking the canal and made other updates.

This home has been newly remodeled in 2021-23 with luxury finishes throughout. You’ll appreciate the newly refreshed kitchen, all new master bath with huge tile shower, new granite counters in all bathrooms, and new 65” TV in the family room.

Appreciate the sunsets, waterfront vistas, and outdoor relaxation and dining from the 5 decks overlooking the canal, including a rooftop deck with vistas to the ocean and across OIB. Dock your boat (direct access to ICW) or use the included 4 kayaks.

Two of the 5 bedrooms are located on the main level, and the remaining three on the upper level. The 5 bedrooms can sleep up to 14 adults and kids (2 king beds, 4 queen beds, 2 twin beds). 3 bedrooms have their own bathrooms, while 2 of the bedrooms share a 1.5 bathroom between them (ideal for families/kids), with a powder room (1/2 bath) on the main level.

The kitchen is freshly modernized and has everything you could need, including new appliances, indoor seating for 12 (8 at table, 4 at bar), and ample cookware and dinnerware.

The wifi/internet is high-speed (400mbps) and all TVs are new intelligent TVs with all of the apps you'd expect for use with your streaming accounts (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, HBO+, Youtube TV). Use of our Youtube TV account is supplied for streaming local and cable channels (major networks, ESPN, etc.).

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Rees Jones Golf Course and Leopard's Chase Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Ocean Isle Beach and Sage Island. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the largest rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
