Getting the best Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

Get the best rental home value:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • To get the best value, change your family's Carolina Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Filter your rental search:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Newly Renovated Oceanfront Condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Carolina Beach rentals search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking websites. If not, contact the host before booking the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking

Know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To make sure damages are not linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the rental manager right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
