This home welcomes you and your two canines to frolic by the sea and soak up the sun. Utilize the bicycles and take the five-min. ride to the beach. Need a change of scenery? No worries! The Intracoastal Waterways is only a two-min. bicycle ride away. When you want a break from the salty sea, savor a seasonal private pool and play some water games with your appreciated ones.

Walk into the living room and experience an aura that only this home can provide. Furnished with a sectional, mounted T.V. and two additional chairs, this area is ideal for family time and calming after an adventurous day on the island. Watch your favorite show on the big screen with adored ones and appreciate each other’s company.

Flowing from the living room is a dining area that seats six. Spend quality time here and feast as a unit as you discuss upcoming plans for the day. The kitchen is the ideal area for the family chef. Cook your favorite dish on the cavernous counter with a range top stove. There is plenty of space to prepare your meal while your family awaits your favorite coastal dish. On the opposite side of the counter are three seats so you can view the chef in action. With its stainless-steel appliances and white cabinetry, this room is modern and vibrant. Beside the kitchen is the laundry area.

The master bedroom is located to the left of the living room and has a king bed, two nightstands, a mounted TV and an abundance of natural lighting. This first room also has a bathroom with a Jack and Jill sink, a walk-in shower and a sizeable closet for all of your bags. The second bedroom is to the right of the living room down the hall and has a twin bed and a double bed, a dresser, a TV and striking décor on the wall. Next to this bedroom is the second bathroom. The third bedroom is stationed beside the bathroom and is supplied with a queen bed, two nightstands, a mounted TV, a dresser and an exit to the deck.

To get to the lower level of this home, you must enter from outside. The first floor is furnished with a queen sleeper couch, a mounted T.V., a refrigerator, a bar and a half bath.

There is a golf cart complete with a Town of Oak Island parking permit available for an additional fee of $475 per week to help you discover everything the island has to offer. Sit out on the pretty deck and watch the kids and Fido play in the fenced yard. Play a friendly competition of board games and gain bragging rights. This vacation rental welcomes up to one well-behaved and home-trained dog, weighing 40 pounds or less, per reservation year-round. For the courtesy of all our guests, our House Rules are that dog is not allowed on the furnishings or beds, must be flea and tick complimentary, and is healthy and up to date on shots. Dog is not allowed in swimming pool and must be nonaggressive and friendly (as service personnel may be onsite for lawncare/pool cleaning/exterminator/etc). We know your dog is part of your family and want them to feel welcome too, but also want all guests to enjoy the clean and comfortable feeling of our home!

Guests should note that an additional pool heating fee is required for each day a guest requests pool heating. Guest must request the pool heating and pay the fee by calling the OIA office during normal business hours at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Pool heating is only available when temperatures are 55 degrees Fahrenheit and warmer.

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

  • If there's a particular Carolina Beach beach you simply love, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your contract.

  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
