Strategies to get the perfect Carolina Beach rental experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

  • Summer time is high season in Carolina Beach. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is a good way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Often, property management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • Begin by choosing vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. NEW! Completely Renovated, OCEANFRONT Bungalow, right on the boardwalk! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available online. Otherwise, email or call the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Upon arrival, document any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
