  • To get the best value, change your family's Carolina Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.

Reserving your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
