How to find the best Ocean Isle Beach vacation property experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To find the best value, consider changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Carolina Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines have deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Choosing the perfect vacation rental in the Carolina Beach area:

  • Start by having your family agree to dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. East End OIB- Newly built, New Pool, New Memories! has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking

More tips for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many issues.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Contact the rental manager right away to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to stimulate future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
