The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less busy than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this villa is near the beach. Rees Jones Golf Course and Leopard's Chase Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Ocean Isle Beach and Sage Island. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting.

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Ocean Isle Beach. To find the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Carolina Beach attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.

  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
