Our top Rental property booking tips and tricks:

When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home & When to go:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Summer months are high season in Wilmington. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitor guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose the best rental:

  • Choose your vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Coastal Blue Front Street Suite 102 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Carolina Beach rentals search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a certain Carolina Beach destination you simply love, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of problems.
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Upon arrival, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
