Booking the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • To find the most suitable rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain money saving offers on local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Stay Salty Villa *PooL open 5\/15* walk to beach has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before booking the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking

During your stay:

  • Put the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
