Head just a short distance to the pier, featuring an indoor arcade, fishing, and a selection of cafes, seafood eateries, and shopping options.

Two modern couches set the scene for relaxation in the living area. In the evening, settle in to watch a movie on the TV. Prepare favorite recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and helpful gadgets. While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar with seating for three. When it's time to eat, gather for fresh meals around the eight-person dining table.

Take in the calming canal vistas on your private deck, featuring a table, a porch swing, and a cushioned outdoor lounge area. Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this condo is on the waterfront. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Sunset River Marketplace are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Ingram Planetarium and Planet Fun. Tribal Island and Magic Mountain Fun Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summer is high season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the largest rental home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
