​​​​​​​- Due to sever allergies some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals prior to booking.

Parking rules: 3 cars MAX. One in the garage, one under porch and one behind that car if you need additional. No double parking under the porch and no parking in the middle between duplex. Owner sign for designated parking must not be moved.
- For any additional cars or parking, you will need to park your car on the street and pay for additional parking.
- We'd like to let you know that the lower-level apartment is occasionally used by the owner. Rest assured, this space is not available to renters, so your privacy and comfort are our top priorities. The upper level where you'll be staying is all yours to savor, with its own separate entrance and amenities.

We cannot guarantee the elevator will be working due to circumstances out of our control. Please read elevator instructions CAREFULLY before operating (found in the notebook). User error will result in a service charge. No kids are allowed in the elevator unsupervised. Use at your own risk.

• Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
• Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
• Look for your local Carolina Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby tours and attractions.

• Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
• Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
