Belvedere's elevation on South Beach's Dune Ridge provides spectacular ocean vistas from the home’s screen porches and decks on the first two levels as well as the widow's walk/porch on the property's third floor. The home's rich, dark walnut floors are the first thing you notice upon entering Belvedere and they hint of all the grand touches this gem has in store for you. The first level of this reverse floor-plan opens into a gathering/entertainment area. There’s plenty of comfortable seating and a huge flat-screen. Off this hub are three bedrooms-each spotlighting ocean vistas. A Queen Suite features a sitting area, sizable flat screen, desk for jotting postcards (while relishing the view) and a private ensuite bath. Another Queen bedroom and a Twin bedroom use the two convenient close by hall full baths. In addition, the laundry room is on this floor as well as access to this level's screened porch.

Upstairs, you'll delight in the bright, roomy and open sitting area, dining room and kitchen. Unwind and renew while appreciating gorgeous vistas of South Beach or gather the family for conversation or a movie on the big screen while snuggling on the comfortable couches and chairs. Nearby you can dine in the charmingly-appointed dining room, complete with an opulent chandelier. The table comfortably accommodates eight. If alfresco meals are your preference, don't forget there's a dining set in the screened porch on this floor! Both of these options present spectacular seascapes ensuring pleasant mealtimes. For more informal munching, sit at the additional-enormous granite island. The island is also great for prepping culinary masterpieces and is just part of this high-end chef's dream-kitchen (which comes completely outfitted with cookware/dishware and is equipped with stainless appliances and bespoke European-style, frameless cabinets).

Also on this level is a pretty King Owner's Suite. You'll adore the soaring vaulted ceilings that highlight the fabulous vistas seen from the windows. The ensuite bath spoils with a bespoke-tiled shower and his/hers dual sinks.

Be sure to check out the widow's walk on this property's top floor. Its panoramas are beautiful (and this third floor renders yet another location at this getaway to de-anxiety, catch some rays-or a nap-and just breathe in Bald Head's serenity).

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Carolina Beach area. Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is a great way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.
