Our top Carolina Beach rental home booking tips:

When to book a Carolina Beach rental home & When to go:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the best value, change your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Carolina Beach area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to choose the perfect vacation rental:

  • Select your dates and spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Hobbs Realty - Beachside bliss awaits you at \"Aloha\" a beautiful 5 bedroom, one-level home with a oceanfront pool has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property manager before reserving the vacation home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Carolina Beach attraction you simply love, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental

More considerations for your visit:

  • Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Keep your property safe!
  • Upon check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
