Tricks and tips for getting the best Carolina Beach rental home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Ocean Isle Beach. To find the best value, shift your vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
