If you're looking for the ideal luxury beach rental on Oak Island for entertaining and appreciating the ocean breeze with family and friends, you've found it! Meant to Beach is an amazing 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom pet-friendly home with a private pool, hot tub, 4 balconies (2 oceanside and 2 poolside), a pool table, and so much more. Plus, you can't get any closer to the Ocean Crest Pier than when you stay here — it's literally right across the street from beach access and all the amenities at the pier, like the oceanfront restaurant Island Way. Talk about the ideal location!

It was purposefully designed with a reverse floor plan to take advantage of the beautiful ocean vistas from the main living area, kitchen, and dining spaces. Upon walking into this open floor plan on the top level, you'll be blown away by those vistas, vaulted ceilings, and high-end finishes throughout. There's an upsized sectional couch for snuggling up and watching your favorite shows on the sizable flatscreen TV after a beach day or exploring the island. The pretty kitchen has granite countertops, a tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances (including a double oven), and a cavernous kitchen island with bar seating for up to 4. One of the unique features of this home is the massive dining room table that turns into a pool table with an ocean view! How cool is that?

For those who can't wait to soak up the sun and relax, you'll find many outdoor spaces and plenty of seating options to do just that! The private pool area is a backyard getaway offering 6 lounge chairs and a set of Adirondack chairs. You'll find two oceanside balconies to watch the sunrise and the sunset over the Atlantic with your favorite drink in hand. Both of the two poolside balconies offer stairs leading all the way from the top floor to the ground level with the pool. The hot tub is one of our favorite spots to relax in the evening, especially after an afternoon of golf or walking around the local sights.

Back inside, the handsome interior design extends into the primary bedroom suite that features a extravagant king-size bed, a sliding door that leads to the top balcony, and modren coastal furnishings. The ensuite bathroom offers a spa-like experience with a bespoke tiled shower and double vanity. The half bathroom completes this top floor.

Heading downstairs, you'll find all four guest bedrooms — one king, one queen with ocean vistas, another queen, and then a bunk room with a double over single and trundle. Again, please note that the photos are different from the current configuration and will be refreshed soon. Two sets of Jack and Jill bathrooms on this level connect two of the bedrooms together. These bathrooms feature granite countertops, double vanities, and tub/shower combinations.

That's only the beginning of all the opulent amenities at this 2nd row vacation rental on Oak Island! There is also high-speed wireless internet for those who need to stay connected, and so much more. If you're Meant to Beach, it's time to book a reservation today!

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear units during your stay! You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more! The choice is yours! For this home you are eligible for up to $315.00 credit on any beach gear! Book now to reserve your gear today!

Please Note: Linens are supplied with your reservation and contain the following: flat and fitted bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.

We know you want to relax without stopping at the store when you get to the island. To get you started, we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, a dishwasher pod, a washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. Carolina Beach vacation rental tips:

Finding the best value:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Oak Island. Booking your vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Carolina Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting and booking the perfect Carolina Beach vacation home:

  • Select vacation dates and budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. 2nd Row Directly Across from Pier w\/ Private Pool, Hot Tub, and More has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your trip.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the owner about pets before booking.

During your stay:

  • Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Upon arrival, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
