Strategies to get the optimal Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Carolina Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guides that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Make a plan and pick a perfect Carolina Beach vacation home:

  • Select your dates and max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. 151 Sunset Oasis B by Sunset Vacations has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the host before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request information on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Upon check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
