Our home is oceanfront in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. It is an older style bungalow constructed in the 1940's and we added a third floor and refreshed in 2003. Complete remodel in spring 2020. There are great vistas with handsome porches and decks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. In the Spring of 2008, the ground floor was added to the rental making it a full home rental. Full kitchen was modernized on middle floor in 2011 with dishwasher and garbage disposal. All new appliances in 2020. Two master suites with mini refrigerator and coffee/tea bar in one. Bathrooms in the old part of the bungalow were remodeled with new tile showers in 2016.The ground floor does have a separate entrance into a game room with a pool table. We newly added a spiral staircase leading to the middle floor. This floor has one queen bedroom and full bath. A theater room is located on the ground floor with a big screen intelligent TV, popcorn machine and refrigerator. A new front loading washer and dryer were added to this floor in 2020. There is a queen air bed that can be used in the theater room to sleep 2 kids. The middle floor has a full kitchen and family room with a freshly updated open floor plan, one queen bedroom, and one full bathroom. The living area has a intelligent tv and a game/puzzle table and sectional couch. The dining area has a enormous table with seating for 8-10., and additional bar seating for two. The kitchen is entirely supplied and offers a huge pantry area and adequate workspace. There is a marvelous open porch with rockers and a table/chairs for eating or playing games. There are two outdoor showers; an open shower on the walkway from the beach to rinse off sand, and a closed hot and cold shower to appreciate your daily shower. The top floor has two sizable oceanfront King master suites with private baths. Each bedroom opens onto the top porch with a porch swing and loungers. You DO have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the interior stairs. There are exterior stairs off the porch as well. The home will sleep 8 people in beds and two more on an air bed. This home is located on the north end of Carolina Beach, a quieter and more calming part of the beach. The Boardwalk, fishing pier and charter boats are all within walking distance. Savor the many eateries, kid's activities, and just strolling on the beach! Bicycle, chair, umbrella and boat units are all within one mile of the home. There is a private deck and walkway to the beach, a brick grille and fireplace to prepare out, and everything you need to have a phenomenal relaxing vacation! Make sure to save at least one nighttime to appreciate one of our favorite local eateries because the food in CB is GOOD and the drinks are even better. We made sure to stock sunscreen, beach towels and beach chairs to help you relax at the beach. Both bathrooms are supplied with the best smelling body wash and soft bath towels. Each bedroom has top of the line memory foam beds and fresh white linens. In the cooler months, our living room is our ideal place to spend time with friends or by yourself curled up on the couches with your favorite book or just watch the boats pass by. The modular couch pulls out to a queen bed with a memory foam bed.We do have neighbors that also rent their space and we ask that you keep noise to a minimum. The riverfront is a peaceful place and we ask that everybody be respectful. If you're looking to have a event - this is not the home.If you like adventure and exploration, you NEED to walk, jog or bicycle the Snows Cut Trail to Carolina Beach State Park. With a marina providing access to some of North Carolina's best fishing spots, a secluded camping area beneath towering trees, and miles of hiking trails that traverse a variety of distinct habitats—not to mention the presence of the Venus flytrap, one of the world's most unique carnivorous plants—it's no wonder Carolina Beach State Park is a trendy coastal attraction.
