When to book & When to go:

• Summer months are high season in Bald Head Island. Booking your Carolina Beach vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes.
• The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
• Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
