Quaint Cottage on the Davis Canal, on the peaceful western end of Oak Island, 1 block from the beach. Handsome vistas of the marsh and canal! 2 BRs / 2 Baths (both with showers, no tubs) Full Kitchen with dishwasher and cookware. Wifi and Intelligent TV (no cable service, but you can savor Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu!)

Great dock with constructed-in seating - fish, crab, launch your kayak, or admire the sunrises and sunsets. Note: floating dock during low tide sits on the bottom - which is more suitable for kayaks. Public boat ramp and the new Lonerider restaurant are one block away!

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Summer time is high season in Oak Island. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.

Have a great stay:

  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
