Tricks and tips for getting the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Carolina Beach area. To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Carolina Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for local tours and attractions.

Make a plan and pick the perfectvacation home:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Villas at Seaside 111 B has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Carolina Beach vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is regularly available online. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book the home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that damages are not linked to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your peace. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
