Original owner, like new home. 4 bedroom, 2 bath open concept home ready for you! Sleeps 9. During peak Summer season we are a Friday to Friday rental (June 5th to September 4th) You don't have to deal with any Island switchover traffic and you get a whole weekend to appreciate Island festivals. We are 125 steps from our driveway to the Beach. Two entirely shaded concrete driveway parking. Huge outdoor shower! All new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. WIFI and TVs in all rooms with Yahoo TV, Netflix, Vudu, Amazon Prime and More! Bamboo floors. Carpeted bedrooms. Tiled baths. Screened back porch. Short walk to Fishing Pier.

Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island, is home to this vacation home. Oak Island Golf Club and The Reserve Golf Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection.   • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
