Taylor House offers a prime location—just a short walk to the acclaimed Oceanic Restaurant and the iconic Crystal Pier. Savor the vibrant mid-island shopping and dining scene, all while being located on a serene one-lane road with minimal traffic. Your private path to the beach, exhilarating outdoor shower, and secluded covered entertainment area make this home a true getaway.

First Floor:
Entrance: Step into the home and find convenient access to the elevator and two main closets for ample storage.
Second Floor:
Primary Suite: Retreat to the cavernous king bedroom with a opulent en-suite bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, soaking tub, and a huge vanity with one sink.
Bedrooms 2 & 3: Two appealing rooms, each with two twin beds. These rooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, featuring a sizable vanity and walk-in shower. Appreciate a room with two twin beds and two balconies, offering plenty of outdoor seating for relaxation and spectacular vistas.
Third Floor:
Main Living Area: Open and airy living room with enormous windows, a balcony overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and comfortable seating.
Kitchen: Step into your dream kitchen, entirely equipped and ideal for both casual meals and entertaining. Prepare your favorite dishes with ease using modern appliances and savor the convenience of ample counter space. The kitchen also features a fresh bar, ideal for casual drinks or a fast bite. We cannot guarantee the elevator will be working due to circumstances out of our control. Please read elevator instructions CAREFULLY before operating (found in the notebook). User error will result in a service charge. No kids are allowed in the elevator unsupervised. Use at your own risk.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in South End, a neighborhood in Wrightsville Beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and South End Surf Shop are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Mayfaire Town Center and The Cotton Exchange. Aussie Island Surf Shop and Cape Fear Paddleboarding are also worth visiting.

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Carolina Beach area. To get the best value, change your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.

  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
