Walk across the street to Carolina Beach Lake with paddleboats, and a weekly Farmer's Market on Saturdays! The beach is just a few steps away, and you can find many fun a flavorful eateries close by such as Hang Ten Grille, The Dive, Fork & Cork and Shuckin Shak Oyster Bar.

How to get the best rental value:

Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
• Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.
