This is a completely gated community complete with miles of walking and cycling trails. Other must-visit attractions include the darling town of Southport with eateries and stores, Oak Island pier, and ferry access to Bald Head Island for fun day trips.

In addition, guests will have access to the St. James Beach Club where they can visit the beach using a private entrance. The beach club includes a saltwater pool, changing areas, bathrooms, and a covered deck with tables to appreciate charming sunsets over the ocean. There are foot showers and a walking path for an painless transition from beach to beach club.

Waterway Park is within walking distance of the villa. Guests have access to a shaded Bar-B-Que area with tables. The park also has a playground, bocci ball, volleyball, a pier for fishing, and a kayak launch.
