Located near the beach, this condo is in Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach. Federal Point History Center and Ocean Front Park are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance.
