  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, try changing your family's Carolina Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance.
