We are now open for units all year long! We book Saturday to Saturday and have a 7 nighttime minimum. We do rent with a 3 nighttime minimum if the rental dates are still available and is one month or less from the arrival date. Example, arrival date is August 7, 2023, we will consider 3 nights minimum beginning July 7, 2023. We appreciate working with families with up to two family pets. We will consider an additional pet for a charge. We adore working with a group of friends as long as the group is considerate of the surrounding neighbors and do not disturb the neighborhood. In consideration of our neighbors we do not work with a group of young people age 23 & below or older people planning to event with a lot of alcohol.

Welcome to E Sea U! You will find tranquility and relaxation in this striking beach home at Carolina Beach. This enchanting dwelling is located in the center of many choices for you & your family to appreciate. We are located in very close proximity to: two min. walk to the ocean, one block to the lake, .6 mile from the Carolina Beach Center and a short distance to many fine eating places. Our bungalow fronts both South Lake Park Blvd & Carolina Beach South streets. You can walk to the Carolina Beach Center on the lightly used one lane paved street or walk on the beach. The Carolina Beach Center has amusement rides for the kids, Frank's delicious pizzas and Britt's doughnuts. People wait in line for over an hour to get Britt's doughnuts.

This bungalow features a kitchen and family room combined, with pretty tile floors. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. Whether you dine on the barstools or table, you will savor the "beachy" feel this home has to offer. There are three bedrooms each with a queen bed, and hard wood floors. There are two baths one with a tub & the other has a shower. There is an h/c outside shower with a dressing area for those long hot days in the sun. The sunroom has a trundle bed which means there is room to sleep 8 comfortably. You will appreciate the unique "dressing table area," which accepts the lady of the home to spend more time preparing for a walk to one of the eateries or stores. We have parking for four cars, one under the home & three parked in a row behind the bungalow. The area under the bungalow is covered with concrete where renters enjoy sitting in the shade with a cool breeze spending time with their family & friends. There are two beach accesses behind the bungalow one on each side roughly the same distance from the bungalow. You will be on the beach in two mins. after you leave the bungalow.

I have been committed to providing our guest with a vacation home that will make phenomenal memories for the rest of their lives. We keep our place clean & attractively beach decorated. We would appreciate to work with you. We are flexible and invite your questions.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Carolina Beach vacation home experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • To get the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Carolina Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, management companies supply Carolina Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Carolina Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the perfect vacation home:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. One Street Over - Cottage by the Sea! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve your rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's a particular Carolina Beach destination you are enamored with, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers charge additional pet fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Document any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if there is a dispute.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to propel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
