Appreciate the one-story convenience of this oceanfront four-bedroom home in the privately gated West End. For your convenience and additional sleeping space, there is a queen couch bed in the living area. Parks-Lowder has central heat and air, a dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, ice maker, cable TV, VCR, wireless internet access, and phone. Other amenities include an open and covered porch, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, an enclosed garage, a gazebo, and a private walkway to the beach with a sundeck.

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the best rental within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Carolina Beach attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Carolina Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.

  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
