Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

• Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.
