We're new to Vacation Rental By Owner, but we're not new to the vacation rental market. Prior to listing on Vacation Rental By Owner, we have exclusively rented our property through social media & word-of-mouth. Almost all of our current guests are repeat customers, which is a strong testament to their high level of satisfaction with our home. *Custom designed to fit your entire event in one space ~ 3rd Floor open concept area overlooks the ocean and includes: breakfast bar with six stools, enormous 12-person dining table, a 70 inch Intelligent TV, and seating for the whole family on our upsized U-shaped couch.

*Grand game room with Queen Sleeper Couch and Wet Bar ~ Includes 65 inch Intelligent TV, Golden Tee and Ms. Pac-Man Classic Arcade Cabinets, wall-mounted Connect Four & Tic-Tac-Toe games, Air Hockey Table, a “Vacation Library”, and loads of card and board game options.

Sticking to a rental budget:

• Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. Reserve your Carolina Beach vacation in the Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. • Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your peace. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
• Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did you have a great vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
